Patient Advocacy Service Packages
There are many ways healthcare consumers can benefit from working with an independent patient advocate. We often work with clients over weeks or months to help them reach their healthcare advocacy goals. Sometimes, the opportunity to ask questions or talk through a healthcare situation is the only immediate service a prospective client may initially need.
To assist, we offer the opportunity to schedule a consultation or consultations to meet that need.
PLEASE NOTE: Only Individual consultation time is included patient advocacy consultation (30 or 60 minute). Additional fees apply for any requested post-consultation work for research, referrals, patient education, and resources. Post-consultation work will be billed at our hourly rate.
This package is designed for a proactive healthcare consumer interested in establishing a relationship with a health care / patient advocate prior to a complex or serious medical situation or crisis occurring.
Having an experienced and knowledgeable professional already on “your team” will provide you the guidance you need to navigate a routine health concern or access useful referrals and resources. You will also have peace of mind knowing the medical information important to you is securely on file with an experienced professional should a situation arise.
This package includes three hours of professional consultation time which may involve:
Our new client intake: medical history, current providers and medications, and completion of our new client paperwork

feeling they are not being heard by their medical providers
having trouble organizing important health information, treatment options and instructions, and appointment schedules
struggling to get a clear and accurate diagnosis
feeling overwhelmed by medical claims and bills
This package includes ten hours of professional consultation time which may involve:

Medical Bill review to ensure accuracy and/or assistance appealing a denial of coverage

Professional Fees: This package involves 10 hours of professional work. The full payment or a $700 retainer is due at the time of purchase. Payments by check and credit card are accepted. If a retainer is submitted, the balance of the fees are due prior to the completion of our work together. Hourly billing will be deducted from retainer and monthly statements will be provided detailing completed work.
