What does the "Board Certified" credential BCPA mean?
The Board Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA) credential is best explained by the Patient Advocate Certification Board:
"Certification focuses specifically on the individual and is an indication of current competence in the specialized area of patient advocacy practice. Passing the examination for Board Certified Patient Advocate creates and promotes competence and professionalism in the field of patient advocacy, provides formal recognition on behalf of practicing patient advocates and enhances consumer safety, ensuring patients have a voice in their care." Services are not covered by insurance. All fees are the responsibility of the responsible party as detailed in the client agreement.

We will meet a client at a medical appointment location but are unable to offer transportation. We will help our client explore transportation options when needed.

What is the process to hire you?
Download, complete and submit our intake form. Book an initial brief phone consultation to assess your situation and to determine if we can assist with your healthcare needs. If we mutually decide to move forward we'll meet for a comprehensive assessment, and develop a working plan that's right for you.
While some advocacy services rely on locale, many do not. Depending on your needs, it would be possible to work together via phone calls, email, and face-to-face technology (Zoom) regardless of where you are located.
Can I work with you if I don't live in Massachusetts?
Although Beacon Patient Solutions LLC is not a provider of medical services, we operate compliant with the privacy requirements of HIPAA. Your private information is protected accordingly.
